According to Welch and Black (2010) , screening doesn't always reduce mortality. Emphasis: while screening increases the detection of early-stage cancers, it does not always translate to fewer late-stage cancers or reduced mortality. 1/3

The Canadian Health care system adopted the 'Single-Payer Plan' model - this ideally means that the government provides health insurance cover for all its Citizens. This approach doesn't come easy because it requires introduction of new taxes. #CostCoverage #PolicyWatch2025 #FellowsViewpoint 1/2
