This 2001 FPS kicked off a mythical sci-fi saga that still gets talked about decades later, even if it’s not quite the draw it used to be. But what’s so special about the original Halo? Why do so many of us still care? Every couple years, I go back to remind myself:

I only understood half this post because of "The Bear," but I have to say that I'll never complain about some crisp celery and a cup of good-ass ranch. Celery with ranch is elite.
I am CRYING 😭🤣 had dinner tonight at a *Michelin* restaurant and the amuse bouche had gluten so my mom and I got "fresh crudite with ranch" PLEASEEEE this is the funniest gluten free item I've ever been served

I was obsessed with the Dreamcatcher movie in middle school. One of those projects that would've worked nicely as a single-season TV series / miniseries in the post-Netflix world, but feels awkward when confined to a feature. Long, long overdue for a rewatch. Perfect cast.

Very sad. 'Broly' (2018) might be the best damn Dragon Ball flick of them all, and there are some very good ones.
RIP to anime director Tatsuya Nagamine. One of the finest adventure anime directors of the modern era. He helped breath new life into long-running series and made them feel altogether vital again. The current One Piece boom wouldn't have been possible in the same way without him.

Daily DBZ 164. Trunks flashes back to his original timeline in a world destroyed by the Artificial Humans. His younger self and an older hardened Gohan stand against Androids 17 and 18, but are defeated. Now that he’s achieved such power, there’s no way he’ll let Cell destroy this timeline's world.

Watching the 2012 Minecraft documentary, which is a trip in itself, but Todd Howard making an appearance (and what he says about it) adds some real context to Fallout 4’s Settlements concept and Fallout 76 in general. I wonder if he was conscious of that, or if MC merely saw where things were headed
