Given we work in the motion picture industry and need to stay current, I’ve never cut back on streaming subscriptions but am considering it now. And am working on divesting myself from Adobe given their prices keep increasing while they enshittify their product.

Haha! Things would have to be very trying indeed for me to not have bog-standard flour and water. :)

Some corners to cut, but not a lot. With Husband not working at the moment it’s going to be a very lean holiday season. Grateful I know how to turn cheap basic ingredients into delicious food.

By entertainment I mean Netflix and the like. By restaurants I mean the pizza we order every other Friday, the mocha I treat myself with on payday. I could have opted out of renewing my Whitecaps tickets but it’s likely Kid’s last year living at home and it’s one of the few things we do together.

Maybe? Normally they use a helicopter and it is LOUD. Or possibly there’s a drone filming unit getting shots of the downtown core at night?

It’s really awful. How to inoculate my kid against this?
