We worked on this paper for about 10 years before finally seeing it in print. It connects with issues that have been central to the discipline of psychology for the last century — but which, we argue, fell by the wayside due to a limited understanding of the nature of the self.

Yes, this was a really great meeting — all the better for being small and intimate. It was a great opportunity to connect, and explore the nuances of leadership.
A lovely small conference on Crowds and Leadership at @exeter.ac.uk organized by @metesefauysal.bsky.social @swedishprotests.bsky.social, and @yasemingacar.bsky.social
@alexhaslam.bsky.social's insights were brilliant!

I was fortunate to meet Jimmy Carter when I was a postgrad at Emory U in 1986. It was clear then that he was a passionate advocate for human rights and for the transformative power of education. In the interests of his legacy, I’m glad he left us before Jan 20.

Excited to share the champagne that my friends Kim Peters & Nik Steffens won as an award for “worst set of reviews of the year”. In a special issue on replication they were criticised because “if a study replicates we don’t know more than we did before; if it doesn’t, science comes to a standstill”
