I hate these scenarios. I want small local bakeries to stay in business! I dont want to HAVE to buy a cake from walmart/costco. But we paid 200+ for a simple sheet cake from the local bakery last year and while it was good, it wasnt liked more by a group of 5yr olds than the costco cakes.

Love being the middleman to 2 entities that wont compromise. I have nothing else to do. Not 1,000 other tasks in a day. I exist solely to facilitate the appropriate parties properly fill in a 3 question form and not deviate with their own counter form.

The preschool requires a physician’s report. I email form to pediatrician, they send back their own document, i send that to preschool, preschool tells me they need the exact form they sent, i email peds office again and on and on and on we go

I feel like this about skincare products. If i’m not convoluting the bottle to get every last drop out, i’m embarrassing my ancestors.

Dont forget about Sloth Mode, when they move as slow as possible when you’re in a hurry

There’s a ceiling fan in the courtroom scene which means the baby wont talk about anything else

My big thing is doing activities that get their wiggles out. We’re doing ymca parent/child gymnastics right now, did it with my older too and it’s the best. I feel like a story time calm activity would be like wrestling an alligator. Or is it more bouncy/free movement?

Only have singles, and still nothing beats nap time. Maybe consider yourself lucky, everytime i take the younger to a group activity we come home with some new sickness. Our library story time is at 10am and i refuse to go this time of year.

Diff carlsbad. Random and unrelated story, about 20 yrs ago a family in an RV pulled up to a store i was at and asked which way to the caverns and i responded ‘i dunno maybe 1000 miles that way’ and their faces fell. An entire family road trip to the wrong place.
