God this reminds me of when (somehow) the first 13 seasons were on netflix. When I'd get sick I'd just put those on as a comfort watch, especially the freelancer seasons with Monty.

Not too sure of what counts as underrated but I feel Nick Roche does an amazing job. Drawing robots is hard, and he's realllly good at it. He's got a great sense of mechanical detail while still keeping it 'readable'. An artists where I genuinely hope to save up and be able to buy one of his prints!

i will admit that part of this is getting older and not being in that target demographic anymore but outside of the occassional costume power rangers has not sparked that joy in me anymore, unlike the source toku stuff like kr and ultraman.

i think i was conditioned by these movies to not take him seriously. bayformers and prime i never really saw him as a threat.

The funny thing is that Lockdown is from the movie where transformium exists. So you have a bunch of transformers who dont even get transformation sequences. They turn into cgi slinkies that then turn into the vehicle. I wonder if this was done to work around the designs

I need this so bad. Imagine Jaime getting a rival in one of the scarabs. Imagine if Black Beetle becomes his vergil kinda like how young justice handled it. Imagine seeing some My Adventures with Blue Beetle and every season just has some raw fights with impact frames like this
