Hey newcomers :) I'm Alex, a videogames artist from Bristol, based in Hamburg, specialising in 3D environment work and 2D illustration.

No she didn't. NHS FIFE harassed her, not Upton.
This is almost defamatory, & they mentioned none of the dismissed parts or the implications for trans women in SS spaces. I complained to Ofcom.

Cool that Penn Jillette realises libertarianism is a Trojan horse for racism - better late than never - but that whole interview is full of crap equivocations and I wish people who've had that kind of reckoning would just go "ah, perhaps I do not possess leading judgement" and sit down for a while

I learned the accordion for one tour to fill in for a couple of missing instruments using the bass keys. I don't enjoy it on a physical level so I probably won't return to it.
Archival illustration had me reconstructing instruments where only 1 grainy image existed so I could then draw them.

Summer of '95 I had a job assembling single-use film cameras, which I did enough that I can still perform the actions. I don't think they even sell them anymore, but even if they do I'm certainly never going to be making them again!

I wonder if there's a solitary software exec out there who's managed to connect the dots between stuffing AI into their products, AI forcing the cost of personal computing to skyrocket, and people no longer being able to pay for their software because they can't afford the computer it runs on

Two weeks ago I said that there were likely millions of uninstalled Blackwell GPUs sitting in warehouses as there is neither the data center capacity nor the power to turn them on. Michael Burry is looking into it and it looks like he’s got evidence I’m right.

If the Labour Party is pursuing enforced racism, as it has done for a long time, it's not enough to treat it as cynically strategic, it must be assumed that they want this;
Which makes it all the more repulsive that they will pivot right off this as soon as some spad prick decides it's expedient
