Released two of the three ladybirds that were hibernating in my flat all winter.

Hope they have a lovely summer! 🐞🍃

Since when did “well everyone else managed” become a standard response?

Twice in the last month I’ve heard this when places have failed to accommodate or acknowledge that someone has different needs.

So yeah everyone else managed bc they weren’t excluded from the design of so many services.

Who decided 6am was peak travel time?! I literally cannot take an earlier train and any off-peak doesn’t get me to work on time.

Amazing news.. the Welsh Government has announced it will ban greyhound racing! 🎉 My Bill to achieve the same in Scotland will be introduced at Holyrood in April - no excuses Scottish Government!
Greyhound racing ban promised in Wales
Labour ministers say the sport - which has one track in Wales - will be banned as soon as possible.

Second sparrowhawk sighting in 6 months right from my own living room. From what I can tell, this one is female and the last one was male.

Say what you want about February, but if you're into fluffy cats, they're fluff maxing right now, at least in the Northern Hemisphere. Your fluffy cat is now PEAK fluffy.

I took the best picture I’ve ever taken of a bird today. A very determined robin mid-flight:

It couldn’t mean any other food but biscuits tbh - surprised it doesn’t specifically mention chocolate digestives
Word of the day is one I may have mentioned (frequently): a ‘snaccident’ is the inadvertent eating of an entire packet of biscuits.

Peregrine Falcon at University of Glasgow on Sunday 26th Jan. One of two birds at the Gilbert Scott Building that morning, this one showing a red leg-ring and a full crop.

Once I’ve poured my tea at a cafe, I spoon all the little bubbles off the top of the drink. Have absolutely no idea why I do it and it serves no purpose but I find myself doing it every time.

Dec-March has to be the best time to shop for women’s clothing. Everything is either sparkly, soft, or covered in hearts and I’m 100% here for it.

I walked 7km out to the science centre yesterday (in the rain) just to find out it was closed and that their online info is wrong. I’ve never even liked science but that just takes the piss.

CAT POEM

Most cats have floof
(including beneath)
With fiercely sharp claws
And pointy white teeth

They push things off tables
And like catnip treats
They have cute li'l beans
On their fuzzy small feets

They barf on the rug
And shred all your stuff
But a cat in my lap?
I can’t get enough

So my laptop is no longer able to play sound - and that’s all thanks to it being the cat’s preferred surface to sit on at any given time.

Maybe ScotRail could fit blinds on their trains so I don’t have to sit for an hour in flickering sun light that basically feels like strobe lighting.

Not to brag but the review by my AirBnB host called me an "ideal guest" because "she was hardly here and the time that she spent here was like she was not here", in case you were wondering what my best quality is
