Anarcho-Platonist, Spiritual Advisor, Certified Life Coach, Registered Trauma Nurse, in Dallas, Texas.
As a traditional Platonist who is also an Anarchist, I'm pleased that the spiritual and the anarchic can find communion in people's hearts.

For anarchists to say that there is only one approach to anarchism or that atheism is a doctrinal component, sounds too authoritarian or close-minded to me.

I'll have to give it a read.
Minimalism, as a philosophical/spiritual practice, has a long history. It lowers stress: having less stuff you need to manage, adds more capacity to care for oneself and for the hearts and minds of others.
But it's not conducive for an economy that's designed on stress.

A term he mentioned early in the text was schismogenesis.
Now every time I see people in disagreements, attributing beliefs to their opponent which they never claimed, or choosing beliefs for themselves just because the other side has a different opinion, I just call that schismogenetic thinking.

Doing just okay...that's okay too.

You're a good man, and that's a blessing in itself.

Maybe, after this is all said and done, and we see all the great economic prosperity Trump has prophesied, the IMF can be so generous and grant the USA one of its charitable "let's save a desperate third-world country" loans, with its current asking rate of over 8% interest of course.
