In today’s Orlando Sentinel, I called for our Florida National Guard to be allowed to come home to their families, not forced to participate in an extreme and hyper-partisan mass deportation operation.

450 military veterans in Florida have come together to sign this open letter, opposing the deployment of active duty Marines to participate in ICE operations, including “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The New York Times ran a whole article about how LLM tools like ChatGPT are supposedly biased and “left leaning”, and to demonstrate it they created a “LeftWingGPT” trained on The New Yorker (ummm… a mainstream outlet?), and it spit out takes that are… not left wing?

It’s so darkly funny that (after a bunch of left-punching and throat clearing), the Centrist Punditocracy, from Noah to Matt Yglesias, have all converged on the common sense position which:
-is only held by the Squad+ in Congress
-would get you targeted by $3-5M in attack ads from AIPAC/DMFI

This D.C. War Memorial, located on the national lawn, opposite the Vietnam War memorial, needed to be built with private donations by the people of DC to commemorate their loved ones.
That includes my own ancestor.
