While this year I look forward to the holidays, I certainly remember years where the holidays were hard. Might be the first without a loved one, financial struggles, a break up, whatever. You are not alone. It can be difficult but people care and will listen. I am one of those people. #MentalHealth

For a lot of us with chronic illness it’s just not feasible to go without. Doctors visits, meds, procedures. Dental care & eye care too. Part of why I don’t go into private practice is I’m not sure I could insure my family with my profits. We’re not bad off so I can only imagine what others face.
Seeing a lot of talk about the increase in health insurance cost in the US, and a lot of people are saying "just don't get health insurance". If I didn't have insurance this year I would have had to pay about 40k this year for everything instead of "just" 5k 🥲

I’m sick, the wifey is also getting sick. Work was fine, but then just pushing through to get stuff cleaned up so wifey can rest. No major complaints, just part of being a team and carrying each other when the other is weary. She’s worth it, every day, every time. Still, I’m sweaty and tired. lol
