“We are at a point in this case where this can’t be like the sad situation of the Pennsylvania hospitals,” said Chief Judge Stacey Jernigan of the US Bankruptcy Court.

If it’s not Centurion “it’s got to be somebody else,” added Jernigan.

Ocean State Job Lot announced that all food in its 17 Rhode Island stores is discounted by 20 percent until the federal SNAP program is fully reinstated. That includes coffee, tea, peanut butter, jam, cooking oils, spices, and hundreds of Bob’s Red Mill products.
