A few glasses of bourbon and a 3-headed sow spitting out adorable piglets that burst into flames was my game of #Malifaux last night. Best friends can make the best games. Great start to this weekend at #PAXU. #ranma1/2 #wyrdgames
A 3-headed sow battles steel workers and a giant steam powered mech on a wooden walkway in the middle of a forest. Fire tokens litter the scene. Four little piglets surround the sow while a giant prize winning pig wearing a general’s metal howls at the sky in the distance. A fate deck lingers just beyond the carnage. One of the piglets looks suspiciously like P-Chan from Ranma 1/2.

Spontaneous joy is such a wonderful thing. My partner and I stumbled upon a Live TikTok performance of The Phantom of the Opera using only Legos. We watched the entire 100 minute show, performed by one man, those Lego acted their faces off! I don’t regret a second of it.
Show leads stealing the scene in front of the live water fountain. Intermission signs. We made cheese and crackers and poured a healthy glass of wine. The masquerade party scene was epic. Curtain call where roses were thrown and hands were given.

We were able to donate over $350 to the Immigration Defense Project last quarter just through itch sales!

I don’t have a big following but any amount I can donate is worthwhile. I’ll release more stuff on itch before 2026 and will continue to donate 100% of my itch funds.

ARKYVR is part of this bundle. The zine is a reminder to fight oppression with truth. I keep seeing more ICE propaganda videos on social media🤮. Film our resistance. Record their tyranny. Say something and say it loudly.

Dead by Daylight’s newest killer and animation, Krasue (from Thai folklore) is amazing. This is the closest thing I’ve seen to a Manananggal in popular gaming and I’m all for it.

We need more Southeast Asian folk horror in mainstream entertainment, seriously!

I sometimes wonder what life would have been like if I had gotten into D&D in middle school / high school.

Instead I directed buddy cop films and backyard wrestling videos. I guess it’s all the same kinda late 90s sausage fest.
Two high school detectives scope out the scene from an old Volvo. Custom built sound recording rig using broom sticks, full sized tape cassette recorders, and 100 foot power extension cords. A bunch of kids wrestling in the back yard. Two boys in a scripted backyard wrestling drama that will win all the Oscar noms. Also, dated yellow spiked hit and a sweet Foo Fighters t-shirt.

My friend surprised me with a copy of Hellwhalers from the @plusoneexp.bsky.social booth at GenCon which inspired me to pick up this copy of Moby-Dick at the thrift store today.
