I wasn't ready for this mix of emotions.
SkedService just got its first Early Access registration and I'm both thrilled and scared stiff.

Validation feels amazing, but now comes the real weight of responsibility. One person believed enough to sign up, and I don't want to let them down.

For […]

As a human being, I won't celebrate #charliekirk 's demise but I do admit that a world without a him is a better world.

It took me a lot of frustration and bad decisions to finally realize that swimming against the current often means going against my own interests. I don’t have to like "The social network", but I need to be there.

Tried #sanity with #astrojs this past week. Honestly… wow! At my age, I think I've found the stack I'll stick with till the end 😅.

By the gods, #youtube is full of brain shrinking garbage... besides the very good stuff!

So, there's a phishing scam going on here apparently, a supposedly official #mastodon account claiming that I have to click on a link to get my account validated. This same user has been sending the exact same message to many other users... be aware.

By the gods! Stop it #linuxmint I'm sold already, you don't need to keep blowing my mind with awesomeness!

Is it possible that things run so much faster on #linux ?

Maybe it's just because it's running on a new SSD which may be faster than the one hosting Windows... Whatever the reason, I can't be happier!

Even as an #ai optimistic, I have to recognize the dangers of misusing the technology. While it can be of enormous help, if you are not careful, it will hurt you more than it helps: It is very easy to fall into the temptation of stop thinking.

#linuxmint Cinnamon really makes me feel at home!

There's an argument that we should stop using #ai because of its water consumption. But this misses the point.

AI companies, which account for most of the water use, won't stop developing. Businesses and institutions won't stop either, and they already use far more than individuals.

Asking the […]

I'm going to become the hashtag ranter if I keep this pace…
Today's rant: #indiegame vs #indiedev.

Turns out a lot of game developers post on both. Without meaning offense, it's frustrating because I'm into indie dev, but not games.

Most posts on IndieDev are about games. Feels like people are […]

👷 #devupdate

Working on one of those deceptively simple problems: figuring out when a business is actually available for bookings.

It’s not just opening hours, we have to factor in:

* Staff schedules
* Prep/buffer times
* Existing bookings
* Personal events in connected calendars
* Holidays […]

I’ve noticed that #indiedev is often full of #gamedev content. Makes sense because many indie developers are building games; However, for those of us outside gamedev, it can make the feed less relevant at times.

Diminished hearing means... we can't hear you!
It does not mean we're ignoring you or trying to be difficult when we ask you to repeat yourself.
We just want to understand you, the same way you'd want to be understood.

And the worst part? The ones who give you the hardest time are often the […]

I love Mastodon, but there's a huge annoyance it: the amount of posts I get in languages I can't read.

I'm fine with Spanish, English and French but outside those three, posts are as good as spam to me.
Why can't we all just post in English? English is not my mother tongue but it is the […]

#microsoft, just letting you know that by recurrently trying to force me to connect my #windows11 to an online account you have made me decide to move to #linux for good.

Hello #linuxmint Cinnamon Edition!
It's going to be a long and painful transition; but I'm doing this before connecting an […]

Do I care that so many articles now read like they were written by #chatgpt, all with the same tone and format?

No, of course I don't!

It just means I can skip them and ask ChatGPT for a quick summary of the news I care about.

If I wanted to push it further, I could say that by using AI to […]

Something I like a lot about #gpt5 is that it won't throw that overly and excessively encouraging paragraph before every response it used to give. It sounds nice but it's irrelevant and only adds noise; particularly when you are working on software architecture/design/code

Errors are occurring much less now on #chatgpt5 but it's still wobbly.

Nice to see that they are on it...

I've been doing eCommerce web development since 2008 and have built and maintained a full eCommerce platform entirely on my own for years.
But nothing has been as challenging as the project I'm tackling now. It's so complex that I doubt I could build it solo without AI by my side.

Say what you […]

Is ChatGPT v5 broken?

I can't get more than three or four responses before it throws an "error in message stream" And once it does this, the only way to get it working again is restarting the browser.
