There was never a time for negotiation with the US or the west. There was never a time for Iran to sit by and sip tea with US ambassadors. All they did was drag Iran along, to bomb them. Let it be known to Russia, China, DPRK, and all bodies, that the US uses "Diplomacy" as an act of war.
