My engineering friend has been building them for years and always guides my nerd buys.
I was going to try a 7L K49 case but because I had to get a bigger graphics card it bumped me up to a 10L S400.
I had to get ram with no heat sync to fit and the low profile CPU fan sits over them.

Hey #alaskasky any gamers on here? First new desktop build in 8 years and first SFF ever. As much a budget build as I could get. The Reapers sold out instantly. Still waiting on the case but successful bench test tonight.
