Utah has had universal vote-by-mail since 2019, and a recent poll found that 87 percent of Utahns trust that their ballots are counted accurately. But Utah’s governor signed a law this spring that ends this system.
Utah Was a Rare Red State to Champion Mail Voting. That Era Is Ending.
Inspired by the architects of Project 2025, Utah adopted a Republican bill to end universal mail voting and impose new restrictions on absentee ballots.

Every day it becomes more clear that Pete Hegseth is endangering the safety of our troops.

Enough is enough.

I’m calling on him to resign effective immediately.

Remember: RFK Jr. fired his last CDC director because she refused to ram through his anti-vax agenda.

Yesterday, RFK Jr.’s handpicked vaccine skeptics threw out DECADES of settled science — and Donald Trump gave a thumbs-up.

This will hurt American kids and families.

This week, Trump quietly released his National Security Strategy.

It totally abandons the idea that we should stand up for freedom & human rights around the world.

Instead, it lectures our European allies & embraces authoritarian leaders who enrich the Trump family & their billionaire friends.

This is awful and it’s such a waste of taxpayer money.
The number of convicted criminals in immigration detention is about 1.8x what it was when Trump took office.
The number of people with no criminal record whatsoever — who are detained solely for immigration reasons — has shot up **25.5x**

The Trump Administration cannot erase the legacy of MLK nor the historical truism of Juneteenth by forcing Americans to pay admission to our nation's national parks.

"Quietly endure, silently suffer and patiently wait." Martin Luther King, Jr.
It might be easy to find things like this merely petty or superficial, but that would be a mistake. Demeaning, erasing or eliminating celebrations or acknowledgments of Black America is straight from Redemption playbook, and is intended to reinforce the racial hierarchy and signal its reinstatement.
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

Prior to Governor Dunleavy our Dept of Corrections budget was $267 million. Dunleavy's 2025 budget proposal for Dept of Corrections is $435 million.

We now spend more money on Dept of Corrections than the University of Alaska.

The money didn't just go to oil and mining, it went to prisons too!
