The Jason Isbell show last night was pretty amazing. He played pretty much all the songs I wanted to hear, and some rocking live versions of the acoustic songs from FOXES IN THE SNOW. They sounded great; hoping he’ll release those versions at some point. Damn great show, worth the wait.

(BTW, my favorite episode is the bachelor party episode. Male friends who love each other and their differences and aren’t into getting strippers or being typical bros. It’s funny and kind and it has one of my favorite lines in the show.

Watching HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY, my favorite of the HELLBOY films. Although we didn’t get a sequel, it’s pound-for-pound as entertaining as anything GdT has made. I know Mignola wasn’t a fan. But while I respect Mignola as an artist, this movie fuckin’ bangs.
