Finally got round to seeing the new #Frankenstein which I enjoyed, but considering it was supposed to be a faithful rendering of Mary Shelley’s novel I was disappointed at the omission of the dance scene.

The Battle of Berlin in April 1945 caused the death of c. 125,000 civilians, which is about twice as many civilians killed in the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.

My own view about the use of the A Bomb is rather complicated but any tankie condemnation on this point needs to tag the Red Army too.
