Thanks. I’ll just wait and see what happens. It does breach their standards as it’s a second account. If it gets booted I think I can set up a second profile on my main account or post anon where needed. Assuming they don’t boot that too! They didn’t have the anon option when I started it.

I reckon they have a magic 8 ball to choose their reason. On those motorised blinds I got pretty much every one on my rejections x 2. They even made up their own non legal reasons and contradicted themselves. So ridiculous. Luckily I got a sensible planner last time and asked again and was funded.

They tried that on me a while ago for an item. I’ve since read the McGarrigle federal court ruling where they interpreted reasonable family & carer support as referring to practical assistance i.e. labour not the provision of financial assistance.

They always word things may, generally etc because that gives them an out and they won’t always find such things for example it’s not R&N or it’s not for your accepted impairment. NDIS definitely isn’t running well but the wording there is not the issue.

“At the time of writing”. They didn’t remove things in price guide that are now against the law or were meant to be updated or removed so the price guide not changing is not a clear indicator, unfortunately.

The birthday cake gst answer was a key moment that lost Hewson an election, perhaps the egg price debate question will similarly be Dutton’s downfall? Maybe Howard because he’s the only PM to be voted in for consecutive terms in recent history so will albo do a Howard in this election?

I’d also like to see a civil suit against RACP or practitioners who have made people worse through GET. We are probably all too exhausted to do that though.
I’m severe now because of physio, not for GET but exercise to fix an injury causing repeated crashes & they kept pushing me.

Probably because the word ‘scooter’ is in the vehicle list but that’s standard bikes and scooters. Not mobility scooters. Didn’t they bother to check the In list? Or deploy a tiny bit of common sense?

This is a mobility aid. Using one you are considered a pedestrian.

I have a separate Capital category for maintenance. You can use consumables for minor things. So is your PM saying no because you don’t have the category, because he thinks no maintenance is allowed now or because its over $1500?

PM is wrong.
Do you have AT maintenance funding in capital? Because that’s exactly what it’s for. They should fund an amount for all your equipment in each plan.

Welcome to NDIS where you jump when they say jump.
You do need referral for service so they can claim so that’s important. Same with support coordinator. OT you don’t but get on wait lists asap. I picked SC randomly so my first plan wasn’t delayed. Then sacked them a few weeks later.

I was looking at the OG earlier this week and noticed NDIA hadn’t updated to the 90days yet.
