This is a mobility aid. Using one you are considered a pedestrian.
Travel and transport related to travelling at more than 10kph like cars, buses and trains.

I don’t know SA options. Disability Gateway may be able to help with info and referral. My Aged care should refer you to Ability First if at risk of entering nursing home. They are meant to help with access or other support to avoid RAC.

OT co had details of my Dx and AT I needed, added me to waiting list. Then they contact me & confirm that ME/CFS is my “primary disability”. Result is I’m off the list. I can’t help but think it’s my Dx not lack of avail. of an OT who can prescribe grab rails that is the issue.Auto email kicker:

My dog absolutely loves going to the vet. Here she is in the consulting room waiting for the vet to come in. Every passing shadow gets her tail wagging.
If I got lots of treats every time I went to the doctor maybe I might feel the same way?

Bicycles or tricycles, with or without an electric motor, that include disability specific features, or have been designed to meet the disability specific needs of a participant, are an NDIS support. This is because they are considered an assistive product for recreation and can be funded if they also meet the ‘reasonable and necessary’ criteria applied to all NDIS supports. The costs associated with adapting or modifying a standard bicycle or tricycle to meet a participant’s disability specific needs may also be an NDIS support. However, in these circumstances the participant, or their family, would need to self-fund the cost of the bicycle or tricycle that is being adapted or modified. Standard, non-modified, bicycles or tricycles including electric bicycles are not NDIS supports. In some specific circumstances, the NDIS may fund supports that are not listed as NDIS supports. These are called replacement supports. Electric bicycles are not considered standard commercially available household items and therefore are not a support for which a replacement can be requested.”

My first attempt at focaccia. It is a big reward for little effort kinda bread.

Recipe from Alexandra cooks.
Two square focaccia breads on a cooling rack. One is golden with big dimples and a few bubbles & is topped with rosemary leaves, the other is topped with tomato, capsicum, feta, ham & cheese and is golden brown.

This little blue tongue visited me this week. First time I’ve seen one on my property.
