I live in Texas and know these people too well. Very hard to reason with them. They may only change their mind when it hit their pockets really bad and it may well come to this eventually.

The Russians are basically asking Ukraine to surrender. Not only giving up land, but reduce their army and give up weapons.
Trump/Vance should be ashamed for agreeing to this and forcing it in Ukraine.
