It's also the day the great Ukrainian composer Serhiy Prokofiev died. No one noticed back then because Stalin grabbed all the attention. Prokofiev is probably the 20th century's greatest piano composer (I would say of music in general, including orchestral work, but this view would be contested).

I hear there is going to be yet another remake of Red Dawn (1984). In this updated and realistic version the Wolverines fall on their knees and beg for mercy from the Russian paratroopers.

Yes, collaboration enables this goal. (US, Finland, Canada have already formed IcePact.)

Finnish authorities stopped the ship (part of Russia’s sanctions circumvention “dark fleet”) in Finnish territorial waters. A good sign European states take this seriously & act swiftly. Still Europe is far away from effectively deterring this kind of grey zone attacks.
I think oil tanker EAGLE S damaged at least one more cable yesterday in Gulf of Finland.
Subsea communications cable C-LION1 (Helsinki - Rostock) had an outage yesterday, reported at 16:50Z.
16:42Z cable saboteur suspect EAGLE S passed this cable.
EAGLE S is arrested by Finnish Coast Guard.
