This is good advice even if your boss doesn't ask. Keep track of your accomplishments whether to pat yourself on the back or go after a new job - your work is valuable, especially if it's already done!

The ginger bark did not work. Either adding alcohol to the chocolate or adding too much liquid causes it to break. We’ll try again soon.
