Agreed. I kept wondering how Vegas kept the Ravens as the favorite, even after Lamar was announced to not play and realize why now. Bears are not good.

I don't wish to defend grib, but grib messages being standalone and also concatenatable into larger single files is a powerful and practical feature for dissemination centers. Netcdf + compression is not trivial
