I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.

Abandon Twitter for good. It's time. It's been time.

I don't know who needs to hear this but you don't need to be productive all the time. You're allowed to have a slow life and you're still worthy of love when you don't have something to offer. You deserve love just by being alive. This includes love to yourself.

Fulltime Announcement

I never imagined this would be how I announce going full time, but the circumstances at hand have decided my path for now.

This is a dream many hope to achieve, and while I wish it could be done under happier conditions, we will continue to push forward.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Very funny to compare this to the Valve hardware announcement video, and think back to the Amazon guy on LinkedIn who was like, “why can’t we compete with Valve??? It is a mystery!!!”

we should not be letting any company get away with blaming AI for their failures. I'm not even sure how we got to this point. people are like "it's just a tool" okay so is a forklift and we still hold somebody responsible when it goes wrong and hurts someone. this is YOUR AI!

Zohran Mamdani wins!

He ran on an unabashedly pro-transgender platform, stood up for the most vulnerable, as so many have pushed for the Democratic Party to abandon trans people in order to win.

Major win for trans New Yorkers - he has vowed for intense resistance to anti-trans Trump policies.

I'm so sick of this shit, not only from Trump but from most politicians, even many Democrats—this belief that people only deserve to eat if they've first done something to prove they deserve it.

Do we deserve to live??

The royal 'we' feels like it applies here too. They probably had a thousand people telling them exactly why Steam was as popular as it is but the Very Smart Money People almost certainly refused to listen.

Dude straight-up says 'We had more money so we thought we'd win automatically'.

you could not waterboard this out of me. “we didn’t understand why people use steam”
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. That's amazing
