Day 2, presentation that I was most looking forward to: @andreashorn.org about the dysfunctome. I need to get those extensive figures and see how it relates to what I see using sEEG connectivity!

Here are my favorite posters of yesterday's session at #BrainStimConf (thread).
1) This one explains why the pig is not a good mdl to study spasm bladder with electrostim. This is a great poster because it adresses a method issue that a lot of researchers have, and don't talk about. By M Verstraeten

Today I'm presenting my poster at #BrainStimConf! Come see me at noon, P2.021 to learn how we used sEEG to select personalized DBS targets for OCD!

This poster from Aki Tsuchiyagaito shows how Low Intensity Focused UltraSounds on ALIC can alleviate depression. This non-invasive protocol could help assess DBS targets before implanting for chronic DBS, just like we did using sEEG for OCD. Preprint: www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1...

Finally finished "Autisme au féminin" by Adeline Lacroix, a sum of knowledge (from the oldest to the most recent studies) and reflexions (including the words of individuals on the spectrum, clinicians and researchers) on autism and women. A great read, would be worth translating to en. 🧪

The fact that people still call it Twitter instead of X (me included) shows that we are attached to what Twitter used to be but it has changed and it is time to acknowledge that. It has indeed become "a site of racist propaganda" polluted by crypto scammers and porn phishers.
