the second game i ran this weekend was Thieves of the Tome by @dairykillsme.bsky.social ! i love the concept so much and it delivers on exactly what it promises, the taking of the actual books and making spells from them is structured super well and the gm prep tools were exactly enough

over the weekend i facilitated Follow by ben robbins for the first time and it was a lot of fun! the format makes for great scenes with zero prep and i like how it works in many genres and modes

ran a oneshot tonight of blades with a bunch of the rules and setting details from deep cuts! i really enjoyed the new Threat Roll, as a gm everything flowed so much smoother and i liked the framing of go ‘here’s what could go wrong, let’s find out’

there seemed to be a lot of interest in the dungeon game for 4-100 that was sold at game market yesterday “minna de dungeon” so i’m planning to read that first and write a blog post about it there’s a demo version of it on their official site too if you can japanese yuugakugei.com/download/min...

i really like this spinning dice that’s a d2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,20,100 and works by you stopping it with a finger and reading the closest number to the left side of the tip of finger (so in the video that would be a result of a 1)
