I got lost in the metroidvania again, but the movement was fun so it was only so bad.

The big stand out to me was the fidelity. Even a mundane room in this old style is much more beautiful than photorealism.

Could use a final platforming segment...

Beat The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

These games need a lot to impress me, but this was consistently *almost* awesome. Every puzzle was engaging, but none too memorable.

I wish we got more 2D stuff like in Adventure of Link.
That Yuga fight was awesome.

Beat Ghostwire Tokyo today...

Potentially the prettiest game of all time.
...but ultimately the gameplay & story are just boring.

I'd rather the gameplay take place during the surrealist moments. This open world is a slog.

My reaction to the knowledge that Keits "The Nerf Button" Heart still lingers in this world.

Many games deserved GOTY, but the year we lived will be remembered as the hell year we watched millionaires destroy the world they pretended to build.
