Tonight's clouds at sunset. I think the clouds here are just so cool, so much texture, like a painting. Weather in Western WA in the fall can be really interesting. About 5 minutes after I took this photo, it just poured rain.
Clouds at sunset. The clouds have a lot of swirls and texture. The colors in the clouds are dark gray with lots of bright gold swirled in. It's a very textured kind of photo. The bottom and side edges are silhouttes of dark evergreen trees.

Chocolate chip cookies called. It's kind of a dark, dreary day. These made the house smell so great!
Fresh chocolate chip cookies. 8 cookies on a black wire rack. They have been pressed with a fork to flatten them a bit before baking. The edges of the cookies are just golden. And the front cookie has 3 chips peaking through. These tasted SO good!

Enjoying the quiet and peace that comes from snow. This photo looks dramatic but this snowfall only lasted a few minutes. Now snowing off and on. I hope you have a truly wonderful day!
Snowfall. Several evergreen trees and a bit of a house roof. The photo ended up being kind of monochromatic, with very dark green trees and white sky and snowflakes. The snow makes the trees look spotted, limbs not really distinguishable except where they are against the white sky.

Watching the weather change every 5 minutes here south of Seattle WA. Snow, hail, blue skies, rain, sunshine, wind, and stillness. All in just a few minutes. Now going to start to make a batch of applesauce muffins. Quiet instrumental music on. Take care everyone!

Found a bit of spring in my front yard a couple of days ago. It was a wonderful surprise!
Two white crocus flowers seen from above. One is a bit of a side view and the other more front facing. Both flowers have shading from the petals, so they aren't just white. They have bright orange stigmas in the center. The background is brown curled leaves and just a bit of green moss.
