I have been holding this one for a while - both to take with me on a break and for the Wicked For Good movie build up month 😃 Love @hazelgaynor.bsky.social , particularly for a holiday read, where I really have time to escape into them!

I’m very sad at the news about Manchán Magan. He was such a gentle treasure. A few years ago he was giving out lesser used words as Gaeilge to people to take care of and use. I got MAIGHRE, which he described as someone being “a bit of a stunner”. He was an absolute maighre himself, gone too soon.

I think my car may be trolling CMAT 😱 Some weird glitch caused this image to appear when I was listening to her earlier. #CMAT #EUROCOUNTRY

I haven’t been able to read properly for months. Poor attention span! But I’ve missed it. This beautiful book though - read with the sound of the sea crashing onto the County Clare coast is reeling me back in! First Hugo Hamilton for me & it’s gorgeous. Thanks Hugo and @kennysbookshop.bsky.social

Just saw #TheLifeOfChuck what a beautiful movie it is. I will forever love Stephen King but Mike Flanagan’s movie leaves us all wanting to dance. When Sarah made this gorgeous face to Chuck, I immediately recognised her. Has Mia Sara lived in the universe inside my head since the 80’s??? Perhaps!

Ah Janey, sad to hear this.
Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert will forever be one of my favourite characters with possibly my favourite line from a movie, ever. Among many great lines.

I started a new @stephenking.bsky.social book on holidays earlier today #NeverFlinch It features a character wearing a Borsalino hat (I had never heard of that before)
Now I’m dining across the road from this restaurant. I’ve read enough Stephen King novels to be concerned about coincidence!

Ok, I’ve been waiting on this latest adventure of Maeve Kerrigan and I’m going in…. Taking a breath to draw attention to the fabulous dedication. I’m proud to fall into at least 4 of these categories and it’s what makes @janecasey.bsky.social such a great writer. She KNOWS her readers! #BookSky

Sun shining in Dublin City, big shiny new book - @whusseyauthor.bsky.social ‘s latest book, in beautiful hardback no less!!! And a pistachio iced latte. That’ll do nicely for a Saturday afternoon 😃

Had a fab night at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre tonight at & Juliet. Great fun, high energy, some stunning singers and you leave the theatre singing. Have loved it since I first saw it in London and it was even better second time round 👏🪶❤️🎧

Anyone else absolutely hooked on #Paradise ? My poor little heart after episode 7! The tension and the writing are just spot on. The heart and humanity running as an under current in this show is gonna break me next week, isn’t it?

Snap! I get so much energy from the sea and have been so low in energy lately. Glad you got out to it too 🌊

I’m spending time with Luke Evan’s this week reading Boy From the Valleys.

Very much enjoying The Boy I Love - despite the heartbreaking setting.

Glad to see Pippin loving the sun. I had a rare morning by the sea this morning and it was glorious!

Received my order of cards from @ciaraioch.bsky.social today and they are even more beautiful in the hand. The detail is just perfect. Thank you! And from a purple loving bookworm - the crow sticker is fantastic 🙏
Check out Ciara’s gorgeous work, folks.

I came back from holidays earlier in the week where I enjoyed many books & cocktails. Best bit, that made me smile - it’s still sunny and warm enough at home to continue reading by the sea, my favourite pastime 😃📚 Back to work next week, so I plan to enjoy while I can!
