I wouldn't say FUBAR, at least not yet. Things are looking very grim, and it will take a lot of pushback to prevent some kind of collapse. But humans are resilient, FUBAR would mean WW3 or nukes or some kind of Last of Us viral plague.
We'll be okay if we focus on community, awareness, and resist.
