Watching Final Battle. Excellent show so far. Just watched Red Velvet vs Mercedes Mone. I've always been high on Red Velvet and this match reaffirms why. She stepped up big. That was a really awesome match put forth by both, but Red really shined

Every single wrestler who works for WWE or its affiliates and does not denounce the sex trafficking and child molestation the company continues to cover up is complicit. It is still very problematic to just work for such a company but if you aren't willing to speak up about it, you approve of it.
Serious follow-up question to the quoted post, because I want to make sure I understand how people feel about WWE and 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 under their umbrella.

If your AEW fandom stops you from being able to at least golf clap for TNA and acknowledge that a significant TV deal for a pro wrestling brand in 2025 is a good thing for the business as a whole, you might might need to hand over your no tribalism club membership card. Kinda cringey, honestly.

Also, Tana vs Nakamura at this stage likely would've stunk like unwiped ass sweat because Nakamura is past his prime and Tanahashi is being held together by glue. I don't expect Tana/Okada to be MOTY, but it'll be a lot better than the Nakamura vs Tana match would've been, just IMO
Dave Meltzer says that while NJPW using Shinsuke Nakamura would've hurt their relationship with AEW, it would also be damaging to their long-standing partnership with CMLL.

I don't pay much attention to WWE because it sucks, but can someone please explain the point of putting the IC title on John Cena just to take it off of him 2 weeks later? Wouldn't someone beating him for the title in his actually retirement match like....elevate the title?

The only thing about this year's Continental Classic that's a bit disappointing to me is that Kyle O'Reilly isn't in it. I feel like he'd really thrive in that setting, but from a storyline perspective, I understand why he's not in.

IMO he felt much more like "the guy" in the 4 month reign than he did the 6 month reign.

I swear I recall tapping out MOX in a baseball stadium, beating MJF, helped Kyle Fletcher level up and beat Samoa Joe in Oct.
More importantly, he had much more of a championship aura than his first reign.
