In his defense: this is hilarious
We used to have the Bureau of Labor Statistics collect inflation data but under Trump we’ve outsourced it to DoorDash

If Bluesky wants to disprove rumours that they’re just aiming to be bought out by some right-wing chud billionaire, suspending Sarah Kendzior without notice or explanation is… not the way to go about it.

Doin' a little aurora chasing in the neighbor's pasture.

Good stuff. Got one good column before this wave faded out.

These are the same people who 5 years ago wanted to force kids back to school without masks because COVID mitigation strategies hurt their social-emotional development.

Today in 🎵People Are STILL Carrying On About The Old Georgetown Rd Bike Lanes🎵:

-Our taxes paid for these roads. You're not going to stop climate change if cars sit in traffic while one asshole in spandex bikes on by.

-We need a "No Kings Day" for MoCo.

-Bus lanes don't make much sense either.

Journalist friends, you know what to do.

Sarah Kendzior was suspended, she doesn’t know why, and the head of T&S said he won’t confirm whether or not the suspension was intentional unless media requests hit a threshold
We usually do that in response to media requests once they hit that threshold. I’ll try not to weigh in here, since that’s still details of an individual case. An interesting topic for a separate write up though, without discussing case specifics.

I know I should read the link in the second skeet, but I'm scared to 😬😬😬
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

first it's pensions, then it's healthcare, then vacation, finally it's the wages, pretty soon you're just going to one box to work all day for no money and going to another to get the rest of snap to eat, which sounds a lot like how they described the soviet union to me in the 80s but what do i know
Is this good? It doesn't seem good.

I was just reminded that Nancy Mace is one of the 218, so yeah, probably not happening. And who'd trust it anyway? The entire story is a massive indictment of the abuse of abuse victims that Trump enjoyed to boost his power, at least. Anyone who can be honest about that should remind everyone.
I guess I should mentally prepare for Democrats to find a way to fold on the Epstein files as well.
