i'm staunchly against the idea of super robot wars "fixing" shows and making them "objectively" better but freeing Delta of its narrative and actually giving the cast more people to bounce off was probably the best thing you could do for that series

I don't want this to mean we get yearly releases again, I'm just more or less banking on the idea that they have SOMETHING ready to go for the 35th - but it's also plausible the expanson pass gets announced and released in early 2026, and then the next title is announced in later 2026. Idunno.

It's very wishful thinking, sure, and since the last two games had expansion passes, I'm guessing Y will too, but I also don't think we're just... NOT going to get an announcement of the 35th anniversary title next year.
I dunno, I think it's reasonable to see a release cycle like Y's in 2026.

While, yes, I think them having to remake their engine from the ground up probably delayed Y's dev time significantly, I also think it's plausible development on it could have wrapped in 2024, with development starting on the next game right after Y wrapped up.

What's available for it currently is already more than enough for me, but getting a better chipset in there to push the device to stable higher end emulation/performance would really seal the deal for me.
