One, I had not heard this specific example but it’s aligned with the whole history of tech. Not surprised. Just grossed out.

Two, this should be illegal. We should all care that it isn’t.
This.
Note also that AI image generators are apparently being used to generate hardcore porn derived from images from high school yearbooks, which suggests the future of robotics and AI is allowing nerds to finally score with the cheerleader they lusted after as teens.

Creepy, yet totally expected.

You simply cannot make me spend my time on this stuff. Oh the president said Tylenol causes autism? Well it doesn't. No I'm not going to pore through research papers to prove it to you. That's not what my time is for. My time is for playing videogames and gazing lovingly at my wife.

Bumping this for the late shift. My fully peer reviewed podcast is out in the world today! I hope you’ll read this thread and listen to the show.
You can subscribe now on all the most evil podcast platforms (Apple linked below, but search on your fave). I hope you’ll listen, and share, and tell me what you think. I’ve never put so much time into any project, and certainly not into a podcast. So I am very curious about how it is received.

again, more than 40% of Cuomo's 2025 endorsers called on him to resign four years ago and I think it's incredibly important to recognize the breadth of cowardice from the current political class and the depth of courage of the women who stood up to him, like @lindseyboylan.bsky.social.
Former critics who once demanded Cuomo resign are now endorsing him
A POLITICO review of Cuomo’s touted endorsers found that few of them stood by him in 2021.
