I think I have got to the age in life where I really can't be arsed travelling to gigs!!!!
Tonight we are off down Manchester to see The Stranglers which I am looking forward too but not travelling so I suspect this will be the last travelling gig, sticking to local gigs now.

I think I have got to the age in life where I really can't be arsed travelling to gigs!!!!

Apparently in 34 years I have not cooked this for my wife before 🤔
Oh well it is in the slow cooker now and thought best to prep the other bit too.

Spent the afternoon in full sun taking the old plastic corrugated roof down in the bar, rebuilding the structure ready for a new wood/ felt roof I will fit tomorrow.
Currently due to building the bar is shut, good job I remembered to put some tins in the fridge.

Last Friday our grey bin was damaged by Enveco bin men, I have been told I have to buy a new bin because it is 18 years old and it is classed as wear and tear.

Come to the conclusion Water Meters do not save water!
See loads of them leaking when walking the dog.
Had one next door but 1 yesterday, took United Utilities nearly 12 hours to respond as the house had no water.
It was gushing out. They attended at 1.15am grinding, digging for 4 hours.
