OH YEAH LIKE. personally "historical accuracy" shouldnt matter in stories with magic and dragons.

But also: blue dye was very accessible and common amongst the lower classes, so give those peasants some blues along with their browns and greys.

Okay so: Brighter colors in the medieval period were only worn really by the more wealthy, partially bc dyed fabrics were more expensive but also bc most colors were considered "unsuited" for the poor bc it might invoke pride which was a sin and their lower position was one assigned by God.
