USG tried to strong arm countries to not participate in China's Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. And every last one refused and resisted heavy pressure, from small island countries to the UK. Circa ~2014-2015.

Do a story on who will get the benefit of the (presumed) tariff rebates, contrasting consumers that have paid tariff-inflated prices versus the importing U.S. companies that paid the tariffs.
