When you look at the map in the story on desktop and mobile it does something strange to Wales.

Oh dear the journalists vanity has got their little pictures in to the minute by minutes. That was the start of the downfall years ago when journalists thought we were interested in what they looked like. Why not put the headline writes face in as well

When did we decide the public realm was better as private property? Who thought it would be better to make pavements more difficult to move along safely especially for those with no other choices?

More public transport, pedestrian and wheeler hatred from the council.
They could have started this 10 m further on and had no disruption to bus users, but they simply do not care. Make the people with impairments travel a round about route to get to a bus especially if it is raining.

When ableist clowns who hate walkers and wheelers get to wreck the public realm. They don't want accessible cities just what fits their personal requirements or buffs their CV's.
What does the TRO say for this ? What was the cost

Such a joke. A real FU to walkers and wheelers. A hatred of disabled people and pavement users in general to make a roadway across a pavement for employees of multinational companies and spoiled little ableists. What does the TRO say for this possible illegal crossing of a pavement?

Puffin, Toucan or Pegasus ?

Mar 8 2025.
This design should be career ending for any accredited professional that designed and signed off on it.
Wonder what the TRO says for that cross pavement section of course will they claim it is no longer pavement. If not it should have a detectable min 60mm edge and warning tactiles

February 2025 . If anything it has gotten worse. Note how pedestrians have to walk in middle of the road back to traffic under dark tunnel to get to bus stops. Moving the bus stop was a disgrace and not fixing any of this after 6 years is a joke

July 2019 : The pedestrian unfriendly "new" infrastructure creates large puddles on the only path to the new bus stop position ( from old twitter x.com/ahaufstop/st... ) ( x.com/ahaufstop/st... )

Why are professional engineers allowed to do this type of infrastructure change without proper equality impacts or fear for their jobs ? This insane re-re-design removes agency from vulnerable people , ignores the transport hierarchy and what was the cost to make it worse

Today. So they clowns plans appear. Warning tactiles removed from cross pavement cycle lane. Are they only at the back? People who need clear pavements now redirected away from pavement and kerb around past a seating area that already encroaches on what i guess is a misuse of directional tactiles.

No longer shocked by how much Glasgow council hates walkers/wheelers and the endless amounts of money they spend to appease vehicle owners. Take a safe pavement and just throw money away making it worse for those who use it. I guess Three Judges doesn't get outdoor seating either.
