ohhh i found my first pass at the ryoga satsuki thumbs and they're rly funny to look at bc i hadn't quite figured out the thread yet so the middle bit is completely unfocused but the ending is still exactly the same lol. i quite like some of these old panels but they all ultimately got ditched.

second room is entirely dedicated to print in japan. it's all really cool but seeing this breakdown of the original woodcut of hokusai's the great wave off kanagawa was a highlight.
