President Trump is once again providing handouts to employers at the expense of workers, this time by cutting wages for H-2A contracted, non-citizen farmworkers.

California stands with farmworkers, and we won't stand for this.

Americans across the country are paying more for nearly everything.

And where is the President in the midst of this affordability crisis?

Building a gold-plated ballroom and driving prices UP.

We’re leading a coalition of 17 AGs in support of journalists and protesters challenging DHS’s dangerous use of force during the Los Angeles protests this past summer.

The Trump Administration is attempting to illegally restrict funding for HUDs flagship program that helps communities combat homelessness and provide affordable, safe, and stable housing to our most vulnerable residents.

We’re suing.

The EPA is planning to weaken current regulations on HFCs — a common refrigerant and the fastest growing source of GHG emissions in world — and allow use for a longer period of time.

We’re opposing.

At a time when the world is facing record heat & wildfires, going backwards is not an option.

NEWS: As a result of illegally installing a former personal attorney, Trump’s baseless cases against AG James and Director Comey have been dismissed.

Justice continues to prevail against the President’s desperate and unlawful attempts to go after his perceived political enemies.
November 24, 2025 at 10:13 PM
We’ve secured a victory halting the Trump Admin’s attempt to impose illegal conditions on crime victim grants.

Yanking funding from victims of crimes benefits no one.

Today’s agreement is a win for CA communities and the organizations, services, & programs who serve them.

The City of New York and I are leading a bipartisan coalition of 25 AGs in calling on Shopify to crack down on illegal e-cigarette sales.

We urge Shopify to continue to be a partner in our efforts to protect public health and enforce state, federal, and local laws.

No company is above the law.

We will continue to stand up for renters, protect competition in our economy, and take on anyone who uses illegal tactics to coordinate rents and put housing further out of reach for hardworking families. content.govdelivery.com/accounts/CAO...

CCPA compliance is not a game. We’ve secured a $1.4 million settlement with a mobile gaming company for not giving consumers an in-app way opt-out of the sale or sharing of their data.

CA is committed to enforcing CA’s robust privacy laws — consumers must be able to exercise their data rights.

Excellent News: We’ve secured a final ruling blocking the Trump Administration’s illegal attempt to defund several critical government agencies—including the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

This #TransgenderDayofRemembrance, we remember the lives lost to anti-trans violence and recommit to protecting the rights and safety of all.

During a time when our President is sowing more fear and division, standing strong for our LGBTQ+ communities is more important now than ever.

Alongside 15 AGs, we’re supporting hockey players in their fight against major junior hockey leagues for illegally dividing North America into exclusive recruiting territories.

Antitrust violations know no borders and enforcement to stop these violations shouldn’t be unjustly limited either.

The USDA misinterpreted the law and even the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to exclude lawfully residing non-citizens from SNAP benefit eligibility.

We’re demanding corrections.

If USDA’s guidance is not fixed, legal permanent residents will go hungry because of the Department’s errors.

NEWS: Alongside 9 AG's, we’ve secured a $7 million settlement with Greystar, one of the largest property managers in the U.S., for an unlawful rent pricing scheme.

The President does not have authority to unilaterally dismantle the Department of Education.

It’s blatantly unconstitutional & jeopardizes the education of an entire generation of children.

As the President turns his back on America’s children, we’ll continue to fight to protect their futures.
November 19, 2025 at 12:43 AM
This is a disingenuous attempt by the Trump Admin to whitewash the economic chaos of random tariffs. The American people can’t be bought off.

There isn’t even enough money from the tariffs to pay for these checks, let alone everything else the Trump Admin promised the tariffs would fund.
November 19, 2025 at 12:06 AM
We’ve secured a win allowing CA and other states to participate directly in the HPE/Juniper settlement evaluation amid concerning allegations the Trump Admin approved the merger due to backroom deals.

We’re defending a CA law expanding the rights of victims of art theft and supporting the Cassirers’ in their fight to reclaim an invaluable family heirloom stolen during the Holocaust.
