I’m a life long cubs fan but how can i cheer for a guy that went as far as to attend the funeral of a guy that thinks my daughter should go to college to get a MRS degree. By going he’s doing more than supporting a friend, he’s openly supporting Kirk’s sexist beliefs
As a Cubs fan, it's been sad to go from Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo (whose politics I know nothing about) at 3rd and 1st to Kirk fans Matt Shaw and Michael Busch.

I have a real problem with this. This not a partisan issue - yes Shaw knew Kirk, but they were not family, no close relationship that I am aware of - it's not ok to leave for this purpose.

don't let the progressives take you down the wrong road on the sydney sweeney commercial, they will lead us to losing this culture war - we need to understand, we need to meet people where they are - you can both fight for diversity and understand the concern of white moderates
Your post hurts, doesn't help - of course there are concerns with the Sweeney commercial, but we would be blind if we didn't recognize, and even understand, that many moderates (especially gen z males) agree with her. You aren't going to win back their votes by blindlessly attacking in this way.
