Those who qualify for snap will get their funds one way or another and/or help in other ways. They still had a few options. There are no options for those who will be hammered with healthcare costs by the end of the year. By caving, their will be no help for them.So, you must think that's OK, right?

Where exactly did I say that? Snap is extremely important but so is healthcare. Unfortunately, senate dems put much of the country thru hell for 40+ days and they got nothing when they bowed down to the repubs & took it right up the a--. They should be ashamed of themselves!

It's mind-boggling how so many elected individuals can profess to want the best for all Americans,but when it comes time to vote for the best, they say no.I can't wait to hear how they're going to spin it tomorrow.Americans should be outraged. The senate dems DON'T have the backs of normal Americans. I can't believe they won't for this and got NOTHING. I'm glad the president was booed tonight but tomorrow morning, it should be senate democrats.

If some govt employees aren't getting paid then NO govt employees should be getting paid. It's disgusting to see military members in food bank lines esp in other countries! A president who treats its citizens like this, while having luxurious parties should be tried for treason.

I watched a video earlier and they seemed to believe that Schuster was going to cave without getting anything from the republicans. I understand why they might want to, but there would be even more suffering ahead for the working poor. Please Mr Schuster and Mr Jeffries, don't give in! Stay strong!

That's two giant expensive parties two weekends in a row likely being paid for by taxpayers while poor everyday Americans are struggling. Trump and his supporters make me sick! Whatever happened to showing some humility, some caring, some brains and less social media.

It just shows which country has a better leader. I hope Canada is doing the same at any NATO and NORAD bases! The US military deserves better from their president.
