Since I tweeted this in 2022, I now have a database of 607,241 matches back to 1871, team ids, python scripts to calculate team ratings, hundreds of stadia with coordinates (to monitor tv impact of big local teams).
I fear I may be.. a nerd.

Christ I hate The Sun. Report his death, fair enough - that's public interest, but maybe give even the slightest amount of time before trotting out articles like "Jota's tragic final post revealed" and the other 50 articles they'll write trying to profit from his death. Ghouls.
