Somehow managed to cut a nice slice into my thumb and thumb nail using a garnishing tool. Kitchen looks like an abbatoir. I had no idea the thumb was such a vascular area! It's a pretty small cut and I think a steri-strip will take care of it but damn! there is a lot of clean up!

It's just astonishing (although I suppose it shouldn't be) watching those who vociferously accuse trans and queer people of child abuse and endangerment trying to move the goal posts to make sex with 11 year olds acceptable. Every accusation is a confession with these vile right-wing monsters.

Listening to Strauss's Arabella from the Met. Excellent cast with Rachel Willis-Sørensen particularly impressive in her role debut. But I have to wonder if there is another opera more stacked with deeply annoying characters? Matteo, Waldner, Zdenka (until the final act), and that damn Fiakermilli!
