HFT members had a busy week! On Wednesday, we participated in the Hamtramck Recreation Dept Trunk or Treat event, passing out books and donated food to the community. On Halloween, members showed off their creative side with some fun costumes!

HFT members were on the Elf Squad today for Detroit Friendship House's toy distribution.

HFT was proud to support Detroit Friendship House and help them distribute food for 200 Hamtramck families this Thanksgiving.

Congrats to Hamtramck High School students MST Labone Begum and Shuvomita Dey on the publication of their debut book Sun-kissed. The authors signed copies of their book at Hamtramck Public Library on Thursday. HFT members and newly elected board member Linda Wolyniec were there to show support.

Congrats to Hamtramck High School students MST Labone Begum and Shuvomita Dey on the publication of their debut book Sun-kissed. The authors signed copies of their book at Hamtramck Public Library on Thursday. HFT members and newly elected board member Linda Wolyniec were there to show support.
Some good news from the election? Our members spent many hours canvassing, phone banking, providing translation services, registering voters, and volunteering to support an operating millage and our endorsed school board candidates.
