Enabling effective ministry in Africa
‘As we plant this avocado tree, we plant a future of nourishment, faith, and hope for our students.’
Every tree strengthens a school, a family, a community.

At Mukono Kabembe Special School, 2000 fruit trees are being planted — trees that will nourish, shade & support the students for years to come.

A beautiful picture of God’s love taking root in a community of courageous children.

Jackfruit planting has begun at Ntinda Primary School.
These trees will one day provide nutrition, shade for learning, and long-term sustainability for the school community.
A growing gift for the future.

In Kamuli, 20 schools are growing more than trees.

Mango saplings planted through our partnership are helping create outdoor classrooms, provide shade for learning, and improve school nutrition.

'As this mango tree grows, my dreams will grow with it.'

As Ruth a headteacher shared:

'We use eVitabu to learn how to care for the seedlings.
The resources are very practical and easy to apply!'

Tech, theology and creation care — working together for lasting change.

You might not expect a ministry app to be part of a tree-planting campaign… but eVitabu is already helping it happen.

Among the Bible studies and training materials are practical resources on agriculture and environmental care.

Jonathan also showed the team around some new updates he has planned for eVitabu.

It was great to spend time together, chat and share a meal together as we come up to this festive season.

On Friday Dave, Geoff (who came straight from the airport from his latest visit to Africa), Jonathan & Hannah met up to catch up & reflect on the last year as well as share ideas for the year ahead.
December 2, 2025 at 9:20 AM
In a trip to Uganda earlier in the year, Dave got involved in planting trees with students who learned about environmental education.

A tree gives more than shade.

It brings shelter, nourishment, protection, cleaner air, richer soil and, in so many communities, renewed hope.

This Advent, we’re launching Just Trees 🌱

With 68,000+ trees already planted in Uganda, hope is growing.

Let hope take root.
