I will never accept one persons anecdote over years and years of studies and research regarding the net positives 🤷‍♀️ i don't actually care if something inconveniences you personally vs the greater good for society.

Sending much love from Canada. We often get too comfortable up here thinking it could never happen to us. I would rather learn from your grassroots resistance example to be better prepared to fight for our own freedoms just as hard as you're fighting for yours 🩷

This person said we all think "driving is a moral failing" and that's not how I view things. I am mad that we have created a system where many people have to drive, or think driving is the only safe or efficient option to get where they need to go.

(If you drive a lifted Ram though, fuck you)

Too many of us are waaay too confident that we're not just one bad election behind you guys. We should be learning from the grassroots movements you're building instead of being smug assholes. But also, get that lady an offline hobby STAT

This is the solution to the Paradox of Tolerance: It's a contract, not a rule. If you break the terms of the contract, it no longer applies to you. If you won't be tolerant, you don't get to be tolerated.

I like this illustration by Swedish artist Karl Jilg showing how much public space we reserve for cars.

I played through Veilguard twice and, in the end, personally found it to be disappointing and underwhelming - I'm also happy for the people who felt differently about it 🤷‍♀️ find joy wherever you can

10% of all trips and growing rapidly as the infrastructure improves doesn't seem like "not many" to me. 🤷‍♀️ We're tax paying citizens too and bringing more business to the downtown core.

Don't you want less cars on the road "getting in your way"? No one hates cars and traffic more than other drivers.

I'll hold judgment until the trade negotiations are finalized. We don't currently know what this may have bought us behind the scenes in exchange. As much as I support taxing the hell out of these bastards, this might not have been the hill to die on when compared to the whole trade war. 🤷‍♀️

Believing you to be absolving Israel's crimes seems a fair extrapolation of your statements thus far. You do seem determined to be a Zionist propagandist on this point so why not all the others as well 🤷‍♀️

Apparently it's justifiable when Israel does it, no?
