This was quite a few years ago and we were the only people on the trail. Sorry to hear that it's overrun now.

The snow was light but steady so that it had the same softening effect as fog.

Happy for Joey. It doesn't look too deep. We're actually going to warm up here starting tomorrow (high of 13C against 3C now). Looks like you will be getting warm enough to melt some (all?) of it.

There were quite a few this year but for a variety of reasons, I had a hard time getting decent photos, mostly wrong angle, bad light, or too bunched up -- all of which fit this one but the snow made it work.

I was going to comment that he is only 22 so he was young but that probably put him in the middle age range of draftees.

Only one of our dogs has ever caught a squirrel and she was very athletic and very fast. But being optimistic is the basic dog mode.

It wasn't much but it was very slippery. Even Flit slid a little when we going down the trail.

It stopped here. Just a coating. We're might get a bit more in the morning but the temps are going to be above freezing with sunshine in the afternoon; so whatever we get won't last.
